Although my home will never look like the ones in her books, I will always attempt to duplicate her sensational style. She fearlessly mixes bold color with natural textures, modern decor with traditional material. And although a few years ago she was dubbed "Queen of Hollywood Regency" I tend to think her work is ever evolving and always unexpected.

I thought the highlight of my day was going to be the strawberry ice cream cone I had after lunch today (thank you, pregnancy) but I was wrong. Just received an invitation to preview the spring 2010 collection of Nicole Richie's new line, Winter Kate.

I'm in love with Nicole's sophisticated, bohemian style - she allows me to dress like a gypsy and still feel responsible.
