Dearest Ikea,
My absence as of late has no reflection on my sincere admiration of you. I play our memories together over in my head and take such joy knowing those times I'll always treasure. But these are very different times. The cost of driving out to see you alone is more expensive than all three of your multi-sized, multi-colored, unbelievably cool kitchen mixing bowls. Believe me when I tell you that it's not you - it's me. Although you make visiting easy on my wallet, I'm now a mom - and alas, I have a new love.
But wait for me, Ikea. As sure as the price of groceries are rising, I'll be back. One day - I'll be back. In the meantime, I'll play those old memories like movies in my head. And I'll visit Ikea Hackers - daily.
All my love,
Jenny
So I guess this means I can't bribe you into bringing a few Rast tables along with you this weekend?!? ;)
ReplyDeleteha! it would take a heaping load of restraint to go into Ikea to grab tables for you and not put a couple hundred dollars worth of goods for myself on a credit card i don't yet have that i'd need to sign up for prior to going.
